KW Phase 4: Publish

Finalize deliverables and prepare them for delivery to stakeholders.

Command: /kw-4-publish

When to use

After the review in Phase 3 passes. This is the final phase where deliverables are polished, packaged, and communicated to stakeholders.

What happens

  1. Final checklist -- Verifies:
  2. Review passed
  3. All deliverables finalized (no draft/placeholder content)
  4. Formatting and presentation polished
  5. Correct output format (PDF, Word, Notion, etc.)
  6. File names clear and professional
  7. Access permissions set correctly
  8. Delivery summary -- Generates a summary covering:
  9. All deliverables with format and location
  10. Goals achieved (mapped back to BRIEF.md)
  11. Key decisions made (from journal entries)
  12. Lessons learned
  13. Stakeholder communication template -- Provides a ready-to-send message template with deliverable descriptions, key highlights, and recommended next steps.
  14. Knowledge capture -- Recommends post-delivery actions:
  15. Archive files in docs/deliverables/
  16. Run /consolidate to synthesize journal entries into reusable patterns
  17. Capture stakeholder feedback with /journal
  18. Spec compliance (when SpecKit active) -- Final validation of requirement coverage and constitution compliance.

  • Pre-delivery verification checklist
  • Delivery summary with goals-to-outcomes mapping
  • Stakeholder communication template
  • Post-delivery action recommendations
