KW Phase 2: Execute

Do the work following your plan, with continuous learning capture through the journal.

Command: /kw-2-execute

When to use

After /kw-1-plan has produced a work plan. This is the main working phase where deliverables are created.

What happens

1. Context loading -- Reads the plan from Phase 1, BRIEF.md, existing journal entries, and SpecKit specs if present.
2. Work guidance -- Displays a checklist and reminds you to use /journal throughout the phase to capture decisions, problems, insights, and plan deviations.
3. Execution assistance -- Offers to help with:
4. Working on the first deliverable from the plan
5. Researching a specific topic
6. Drafting content sections
7. Reviewing and improving existing work
8. Solving encountered problems
9. Journal prompts -- After significant decisions or insights, suggests capturing them with /journal.
10. Progress check-ins -- Periodically prompts to review progress against the plan and quality criteria.
11. Spec compliance (when SpecKit active) -- Monitors work against the active specs/[N]-feature/spec.md requirements (see .design-state.yaml) and flags deviations.
